Who is Walt Yocius? (rhymes with ferocious)

I’m the oldest of five kids in my family. I have 3 brothers (Eric, David, Steve) and a sister (Debbie). We are a wild and crazy group when we all get together.

My lovely wife, Judy and I have 5 children between us, Robert, Callum and Abigail: Jon and Jamie. We are empty-nesters who enjoy time with our kids and grandchildren whenever we can get it.

I have been interested in family development for as long as I can remember. Even before I had a family of my own. I have a passion to help families develop strong connections. I have worked in the social service field for more than 30 years as a County Agency Social Worker, Mental Health Case Manager, In-Home Family Counselor, Transitional Outreach Specialist in a Prison, Certified Family Life Educator and Certified Parent Coach.

I am a student of people and families who is devoted to the helping them explore and grow to meet their needs in body, soul and spirit. I have a biblical worldview that incorporates the life principles of the Bible into our everyday lives.
